This summer, "Walser im Wald" invites you once again to unforgettable evenings. For the 15th time, the parish courtyard in Damüls will transform into a charming stage for extraordinary sound experiences. Every Wednesday during the summer holidays, locals and guests come together to enjoy music beyond the ordinary – from jazz and blues to rock.
On Wednesday, July 15, you can look forward to JANKA – no longer a hidden gem in the Austrian indie bubble. With songs like "Dolce Vita" and "Monstera," the band project from Innsbruck has won the hearts of many fans of handmade, German-speaking guitar pop in recent years. JANKA finds the extraordinary in the mundane: Their songs address everyday emotional outbursts, dying houseplants, mobile phone providers, and even a dislike for olives. The relatable lyrics meet playful arrangements and create an unapologetic honesty, from which we can expect a lot this year as well.
Look forward to good music, refreshing drinks served by the Damüls clubs, and mild summer evenings in a special atmosphere. Admission is free, as always.
