The two lovely villages of Damüls and Fontanella-Faschina are located right at the center of Vorarlberg, Austria's westernmost province. They are easily accessible via Bregenzerwald or Großes Walsertal throughout the seasons. In summer Damüls can be also reached on the Furkajoch pass road (from Rheintal valley).
The public transport network and connections in Vorarlberg are very well developed.
The bus line 77 takes you from Thüringen through the Großes Walsertal to Damüls and the bus line 43 takes you from Au in the Bregenzerwald to Damüls.
The nearest railway station is Bludenz (30 km). From Bludenz you can easily reach Damüls and Faschina by bus (line 76/77) or by taxi. Alternatives are the train stations in Dornbirn and Bregenz.
In the winter months run in Damüls a free local bus, as well as a low-cost night bus.
