Isn't it good to know that when hiking in Damüls Faschina you can always have a destination in front of you, which beckons with a fresh glass of milk or a tasty Bregenzerwald mountain cheese?
Enjoy a hearty alpine snack at one of the numerous alpine huts. An experience that is simply part of a summer vacation in the mountains. Depending on snow conditions, the alpine huts are open from the beginning/mid-June and are open until around mid-September.
There are also several Alpine Club and refuge huts in the area. Details can be found on the website of the Austrian Alpine Association ÖAV.
