A vacation in the mountains is perfect for families with children. Damüls Faschina offers a wide range of activities for families, which can and should be experienced together. For example, the barbecue areas in the region are always located by a body of water, so that there is plenty of variety and adventure before and after eating a delicious sausage from the fire. At Bunny's children's theme trail, the little ones can perhaps teach the grown-ups a thing or two. The forest ropes course with Flying Fox in Damüls offers a varied and special leisure experience during your summer vacation. "Float" around in and between the trees, rush and shimmy from tree trunk to tree trunk and simply whizz across the valley on the Flying Fox. As an alternative to bad weather, a 170 m² indoor play park has been built in Kirchdorf. The fun park with toddler area and recreation room offers children of all ages a play paradise. During the vacations, there is also a children's program with changing activities.
In addition to hiking trails and summit experiences, there is also plenty to discover in Damüls-Faschina in summer. Alfons Bischof regularly invites you to take a horse-drawn carriage ride, on Sundays you can enjoy breakfast with a view at the Elsenalpstube - and if you like, you can join one of the guided hikes.
There is a varied children's program for little explorers - from a visit to the snow groomer and LandArt in nature to a circus, skateboard workshop or first aid to try out. Playful, lively, outdoors.
And if the weather doesn't play along, a visit to the FIS Ski Museum is well worthwhile. In addition to classics from the history of skiing, the special exhibition "75 years of HEAD & Hohenlohe" is running there this summer - a tribute to pioneering spirit, technology and big names in skiing.
What else is going on? You can find out in the calendar of events -just take a look and be surprised.
Once a week during the summer vacations is children's time. Out and about or inside discovering, marveling and joining in - playing, laughing and learning is guaranteed. and the parents? They can take a deep breath. Or simply join in.
The Seewaldsee in Fontanella in the Großes Walsertal is one of the most popular excursion destinations in our region. Easily reached on foot from the Säge parking lot in around 35 minutes, the idyllic, usually well-tempered bathing lake offers fun for young and old.
As the water supply is low, the lake has exceptionally pleasant temperatures at this altitude (1,200 m), making it ideal for swimming in summer - even on a warm rainy day. The beautiful surroundings and two inns, Gasthaus Seewaldsee and See&me, invite you to relax and linger.
