The Damüls-Mellau ski area starts the new winter season on December 5, 2025. The Faschina ski area will follow on December 19, 2025.

Look forward to 109 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes, modern lifts and absolute snow reliability in the snowiest village in the world. Whether skiing, snowboarding or simply enjoying the snow-covered mountains - Damüls Faschina offers winter experiences for everyone.

The Damüls-Mellau ski area will remain open until April 12, 2026 , Faschina until April 6, 2026.

Together with the Faschina ski area, the snow-sure Damüls-Mellau ski area forms the largest ski area in the Bregenzerwald and one of the largest ski areas in Vorarlberg.

Rich in snow

The Damüls Faschina snow area is located in the heart of Vorarlberg, between the Bregenzerwald and the Großes Walsertal biosphere reserve. The two charming Walser mountain villages stand for guaranteed snow from December to April.

Winter hiking

Damüls-Mellau and Faschina also have a very well-developed network of groomed winter hiking trails.

Cross-country skiing

Two trails with eleven sunny kilometers of trails are groomed for you every day.

Vacations in Damüls Faschina stand for a wide variety of winter sports that can be practiced here. You can obtain the relevant sports equipment for the various sports from several sports stores and sports equipment rental outlets. In addition to alpine skis and snowboards, you can also hire toboggans, snowshoes, cross-country skis and touring skis.
