"The Land of Swings" is a special alpine project that invites you to swing, linger and take a deep breath at several picturesque locations in Damüls-Faschina. The down-to-earth, handmade swings - the so-called Hutschn - combine traditional craftsmanship with an intense experience of nature and convey a unique attitude to life: Swing. Let go. Being free.
The two new swings at the Pfarrhof backdrop complement the existing alpine locations and now make the experience available directly in the village of Damüls. The Hutschn opposite are high-quality handicrafts made of solid wood, lovingly designed with typical regional shingles and offer a special eye-catcher for guests and locals alike.
The swing installations are more than just places to sit - they are deliberately designed art objects in nature. The project aims to give people a moment to slow down and reflect. Swinging not only changes the perspective on the surrounding landscape, but often also the inner view of one's own everyday life.
Behind this term lies the Hutschn project - the three founders Andreas Baumann, Andreas and Matthias Bunsen have combined creative joie de vivre and first-class craftsmanship and produce high-quality swings made of solid oak planks, the so-called "Hutschn", in elaborate manual work in a master workshop. The focus here is on quality, durability, origin and the ecological balance. The project was created in their spare time and was not profit-oriented from the outset. For all three, it is a passion alongside their professions. Despite high demand, they deliberately decided against commercial mass production. Rocking. Letting go. Being free. Their success proves them right.
