To mark the 700th anniversary of the village of Damüls in 2013, the book "Damüls - Contributions to the past and present" by Michael Kasper and Andreas Rudigier was published. The aim of this work was to document more contributions from the recent past and present of Damüls and to allow contemporary witnesses to have their say.
"Anyone who hears (and knows) Damüls immediately has the image of the idyllically situated little mountain church in mind and thus probably one of the most beautiful places that Vorarlberg has to offer. This place and the people who have lived there for centuries are the focus of this volume, which focuses on the historical setting, the architectural evidence from past centuries and the lives of the people who came from agriculture and raced into the age of tourism almost at the speed of light."
With contributions from Bianca Allgäuer, Robert Groß, Edith Hessenberger, Michael Kasper and Klaus Pfeifer.
The book can be ordered online in the Damüls store. (ISBN 978-3-9022225-57-3)
