PETER IWANIEWICZ

I head the Sustainable Development and Awareness Raising Department at the Federal Ministry for Climate Action. As part of this, we coordinate the implementation of the 2030 Agenda in the department, manage the relevant interfaces with the countries and also support the individual goals through projects, particularly in the non-formal and informal education sector.
I pass on the knowledge I have built up over 30 years in the field of sustainable development in courses on "Sustainability in administrative organizations" and "Science communication" at the University of Vienna and the University of Applied Sciences Campus Vienna.
In my spare time, I write books and have also been working on our strange animal-human relationships for 30 years in a column in the weekly magazine FALTER .
