What a special day at the FIS Ski Museum Damüls! Together we celebrated 75 years of HEAD - with real ski legends, moving history and lots of emotions.
The focus was on the new special exhibition in the FIS Ski Museum, which is all about HEAD and the long-standing brand ambassador Hubertus Prinz zu Hohenlohe. The charismatic skier, photographer, singer and designer was there in person.
He was joined by numerous skiing greats: Olympic champion Patrick Ortlieb, world champion and HEAD racing director Rainer Salzgeber and Hubert Strolz, 1988 Olympic champion in the combined, whose son Johannes is also active in the World Cup." (He won Olympic gold in the combined in Beijing in 2022 - just like his father 34 years earlier).
Also taking part: Sara Maria Hector (Olympic gold in the giant slalom in 2022), six-time junior world champion Magdalena Egger, ski racer Ariane Rädler and Elisabeth Kappaurer, who recently announced her retirement after a long series of injuries.
Walter Hlebayna, long-time president of the VSV, also made sure to stop by - as did Father Nivard, Hubertus zu Hohenlohe's 90-year-old teacher from his school days in Vorarlberg.
Thank you for celebrating this special day with us - ski culture is alive and well, and you are part of it!
The FIS Ski Museum Damüls is looking forward to your visit!
