The beauty of nature only becomes apparent when you walk slowly. Verena dedicates herself to this idea with her special hikes in the Großes Walsertal. Each tour tells its own story - from quiet moments in the moonlight, enjoying regional delicacies to meeting your own inner voice.
Verena: This is my full moon hike, which I do all year round
during the full moon. The hike is also a highlight in winter
highlight when we hike with snowshoes in untouched nature.
The snow glistens underfoot, the mountains are already in the shade
in the shade and the glowing moon rises behind them. It
shines so huge between the peaks, it's an incredible sight!
sight!
Verena: My family owns a rustic hut for around 20 people in Unterdamüls, where my father and I built a wine cellar a few years ago. At school, I did a course to become a young wine sommelier, which gave me the idea of a wine enjoyment hike that locals and guests can book with me personally. My neighbor, who is a wine sommelier, supports me on the hike by doing the wine tasting and I prepare the wild snack or a Kässpätzle party.
Verena: Yes. I offer this special hike together with my great cousin, who is a personality and mental coach. During the hike to the "inner voice", we make several stops where she gives impulses that lead to grounding and growth. I lead the group and also impart herbal knowledge: Which plants and herbs grow here in the mountains and how they help us to find our "inner voice". Yarrow, for example, which has a calming effect, or ribwort plantain and thyme as a remedy for coughs. On this tour, we not only walk in shoes, but also barefoot on meadows, stones or in the mud. Participants should be as mindful and aware of their surroundings as possible. Many find it difficult at first, but after an hour in silence at the latest, everyone finds themselves. We
We can see it on their faces as they literally turn their gaze inwards. We conclude the hike with an energy treatment in the group using herbal oil essences. So far, all of the participants have said that they felt really relaxed and refreshed.
and relaxed, and that it was a shame that the hike didn't last longer.
