FIS Ski Museum Damüls - Opening of the presentation "Strolz - Strolz"

On July 22 at 3:00 pm, the time had finally come. We were able to present the new special exhibition to honor the successes of Hubert and Johannes Strolz.

Hubert Strolz is a former Austrian ski racer and Johannes Strolz is an Austrian ski racer - both from Warth.
Hubert's greatest success was his Olympic victory in the combined in Calgary in 1988. 34 years later, his son Johannes also won Olympic gold in the combined in Beijing. Johannes won the silver medal in the slalom - just like his father in the giant slalom in 1988. Johannes also managed to win another gold medal in the team competition.

We would especially like to thank Hubert and Johannes Strolz as well as Christian Lingenhöle and his museum team, without whom this interesting exhibition would not be possible.
