The Seewaldsee in Fontanella in the Großes Walsertal is one of the most popular excursion destinations in our region. Easily reached on foot in around 35 minutes, the idyllic, mostly well-tempered bathing lake offers fun for young and old.
As the water supply is low, the lake has exceptionally pleasant temperatures at this altitude (1,200 m), which makes it ideal for swimming in summer - even on a warm rainy day. The beautiful surroundings and two inns, Gasthaus Seewaldsee and see&me, invite you to relax and linger.
In addition, the slow train runs between Fontanella Säge and Seewaldsee in summer.
