Bad Rothenbrunnen, Sonntag-Buchboden

It all began with a Marian apparition of a shepherd who bathed his injured foot in the spring and was healed. Soon after, a bathhouse was built and the place was called the "red well". Today, this is a popular excursion destination in the heart of the Großes Walsertal biosphere reserve. The inn can be reached via paths of varying difficulty and is also an ideal hike in rainy weather.
