BERGaktiv Guided Snowshoe Hike Tiefenwald

Soon you will immerse yourself in the winter seclusion and tranquility of the biosphere park core zone. On the way, Wilfried Türtscher, a retired forest ranger, will explain to you what makes the deep forest so special, what distinguishes it as a core zone, and which wildlife tracks you might encounter.

Rental equipment: snowshoes | poles | optionally avalanche transceiver, shovel, and probe. Rental equipment must be ordered when registering for the hike!
Price: € 14.00 per person aged 15 and older; for children and adolescents aged 12-15 € 5.00,  for guests from BERGaktiv member businesses, participation in the hike is free. Excluding cable car and bus rides and snacks. Total rental equipment € 18.00

Equipment notice
• Small backpack with (warm) drink
• warm winter clothing – we recommend the layering principle – as well as hat and gloves
• hiking boots or sturdy winter shoes/boots – tip: avoid smooth leather boots/shoes as
the straps of the snowshoes may leave marks
• ski or trekking poles if available
