BERGaktiv Guided Snowshoe Hike Tiefenwald

Soon you'll immerse yourself in the wintry seclusion and tranquility of the biosphere park core zone. On the way, Wilfried Türtscher, a retired forest supervisor, will explain to you what makes the deep forest so special, what distinguishes it as a core zone, and which wildlife tracks you might encounter.

Rental equipment: snowshoes | poles | possibly avalanche transceiver, shovel, and probe. The rental equipment must be ordered when registering for the hike!
Price: € 14.00 per person aged 15 and older; for children and teenagers aged 12-15 € 5.00; for guests from BERGaktiv member businesses, participation in the hike is free. Excluding cable car, bus rides, and snacks. Total rental equipment € 18.00

Equipment note
• Small backpack with (warm) drink
• Warm winter clothing – we recommend the onion principle – as well as a hat and gloves
• Mountain shoes or sturdy winter shoes/boots – Tip: no smooth leather boots/shoes as
the straps of the snowshoes could leave marks
• Ski or hiking poles if available
• Snowshoes if available

• For night hikes a headlamp
