Full moon hike in Damüls

Experiencing the snowy mountain world in the bright light of the full moon is something truly special. In the evening silence, we hike through the winter hiking landscape in the snowiest village in the world, Damüls. Let yourself be enchanted by the sparkling snow surfaces and a mountain panorama illuminated by the moon.

Route: exact route choice is at the discretion of the hiking guide (depending on snow/weather conditions)
Hiking time / altitude difference: approx. 1.5 hours / max. 250 meters in ascent and descent
Duration: approx. 2 hours.
Meeting point: 8:30 PM parking lot directly on the street across from the guesthouse

Equipment: Sturdy waterproof winter boots and warm winter clothing with hat and gloves
Cost: € 14.00 per person aged 15 and over | for children aged 12 to 15 € 5.00 | for guests from BERGaktiv member businesses free of charge. Rental equipment € 18.00 per person consisting of snowshoes and poles, possibly an avalanche beacon, shovel, and probe -> must be specified when registering for the hike.

Equipment notice
• Small backpack with (warm) drink
• Warm winter clothing – we recommend the layering principle – as well as hat and gloves
• Mountain boots or sturdy winter shoes/boots – tip: no smooth leather boots/shoes as
the straps of the snowshoes could leave marks
• Ski or hiking poles if available
• Snowshoes if available
