The Schubertiade in Schwarzenberg is considered the most important Schubert festival in the world. The rural atmosphere of this beautiful village harmonizes in a delightful way with the music of Schubert and his contemporaries.

About 40 events are on the program: chamber concerts, song recitals, and piano concerts form the focus. Year after year, outstanding artists and ensembles are guests in the Angelika Kauffmann Hall, from where views extend over meadows and mountains. During the Schubertiade, various artists showcase their treasures in small but fine exhibition rooms in the town center. The restaurants and cafés have extended opening hours. Many locations have their own Schubertiade buses that take attendees to the concerts in Schwarzenberg.
Schubertiade Shuttle Service
With the Schubertiade bus, you can easily and comfortably get to all events and back. The return trip takes place only after the end of the final applause. Tickets are available at your hotel, at local tourist offices, and directly on the bus. No prior registration is required. The boarding points are centrally located and in close proximity to numerous other hotels or inns. Your accommodation will be happy to inform you about the nearest boarding point.
