On Friday, 24 October 2025, the Hotel Alpenstern in Damüls will be transformed into a stage for living literature. The poetry slam promises an evening full of linguistic artistry, rhythm and incisive thoughts – live, direct and captivating. Some of the most exciting voices on the Austrian slam scene will be there:
– David Samhaber, who recounts his life with charm and self-irony – from coming out to apricot dumplings.
– Die Bacher (Anna Maria Mühlbacher), Tyrolean runner-up in 2023, writes against patriarchy with wit and attitude.
– Lia Hartl, reigning U20 champion of Austria, brings a breath of fresh air and sensitive lyrics to the stage.
– Tamara Stocker, known for her dry humour, is Tyrol's poetry slam champion and has proven herself internationally.
– The evening will be hosted by Diana Köhle, grand dame of the Austrian slam scene and inventor of the diary slam.
Whether you're curious or a die-hard slam fan, this evening is for everyone who loves language and wants to be moved, surprised and inspired by powerful words.
