The traditional midsummer bonfire will once again take place in Faschina. On Saturday 21.06.2025, the annual midsummer bonfire will be lit on the “Hahnenköpfle” in Faschina to draw attention to the day and night turn.
With refreshments (19.00 hrs) there is a harmonious musical accompaniment with groups from the region. Among others, the “Obergrechter Alphorn-Echo” will be playing harmonious tunes, vocal soloist “Roland Franzoi” will be playing suitable folk songs on his contraguitar and the “Trio-Walserstolz” will be performing.
This evening can begin with an unforgettable high-altitude hike along the flower trail. At around 8.30 pm, the midsummer bonfire is lit at the Hahnenkopf, and the surrounding midsummer bonfires can also be observed later from the “Hahnenköpfle”.
A special highlight for children is the individual torchlight hike to the Franz-Josef hut and back to Faschina. (Torches are available at the Hahnenköpfle for a contribution towards expenses of € 2.00 per torch)
The event only takes place in good weather!
