On Saturday, 23 August 2025, it will be that time again: the Alpe Tiefenwald will return to the valley.
Start: at 11:00 a.m. in Faschina
Arrival: approx. 12:00 p.m. at the village square in Fontanella
Refreshments will be available for visitors there from around 12:00 p.m. Enjoy regional delicacies, get to know the Alpine farmers and celebrate this special traditional festival with us, which has been part of life in the Großes Walsertal valley for generations.
The cattle drive is not only a thank you for a good alpine summer, but also a colourful experience for the whole family – with decorated cows, a rustic atmosphere and genuine Vorarlberg tradition. T
